Entrepreneurial vocation
In 2022, he decided to bring his many years of managerial and organisational experience gained in large industrial and financial groups, to the world of sport and football in particular, making use of a dedicated team of collaborators, through Santella Global Counseling (SGC) Srls Sport Division, proposing an innovative business model that is attentive to all the needs of both players and football clubs involved.
The team
SGC’s collaborators developed a recognized expertise and reputation in the sector and have been able to build over the years an important network of collaborations and relationships with the main Italian professional football clubs (Series A, Series B and Lega Pro), as well as with technical directors, coaches, athletes, scouts and agents from different countries.

Our team
Alfredo Regueira
CEO & Founder of 1950futbol.com, a former professional football player. Fluent in Spanish, Italian, English, and Portuguese. He played for several Uruguayan teams, including C.A. Peñarol, I.A.S.A., C.A. Fenix, Villa Española F.C., Basañez F.C., and F.C. Colon. He was also a member of the Uruguayan national team that participated in three editions of the World University Games.
As a sports agent, he has been involved in over 180 international transfers during his 23-year career.
Claudio Onofri
A former professional football player with extensive coaching experience, including roles with youth and senior teams at Ravenna, Spezia, and Genoa. He has served as Sporting Director for Pro Patria, Spezia, and Genoa, where he was also Head of the Youth Academy.
As a scout and talent spotter for Milan and Genoa, he discovered numerous prospects, including Criscito, Pisacane, Nicola, and Konko. Additionally, he was a Sky pundit and commentator for 15 years.
Elio Signorelli
A former professional football player with a career spanning Serie A to Serie C, playing for clubs such as Genoa, Prato, Barletta, and Casertana, among others. He later transitioned to a managerial role, serving as Sporting Director for Livorno, Mantova, and Carpi.
Today, he has chosen to work with Santella Global Counseling, an agency renowned for its professionalism and expertise. Here, he is set to contribute his extensive experience and passion for football.
Federico Cirilli
With a degree in International Political Science from the University of Genoa, where he completed both a bachelor’s and a master’s programme, he also earned a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Parma and San Marino. Thanks to his language studies and extensive international experience, he has certified proficiency in English and Spanish, enabling him to handle international relations on behalf of the agency.
Marco Orru'
With a degree in Communication Sciences and experience as a lecturer in marketing and communication, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his roles.
He is also part of the youth academy of a Serie A club, working as a scout, and is a recognised expert in youth football.
In addition to his passion for football, he specialises in the Belgian, Dutch, and Scandinavian leagues.
